rf outlet

how do i enable rf outlet so i can link v+ box to kitchen tv ;have a cable running to kitchen worked on previous stbs and freeview; not bothered about hd on both just need to watch same channel on both sets

Might be wrong but I did not think the RF Out worked on the V+.....

Anybody prove me wrong ?

This has been answer many, many times before but here we go again......

...the RF output on SA V+s is disabled when the box is in HDMI mode. The Samsung V+ does not have an RF output.

The VCR SCART remains active when in HDMI mode and can be used with a SCART to RF convertor to provide an RF output.

If you want to do that then Change the Display and Audio settings to anything apart from HiDef HDMI or Component

tried that but knocks sound off what settings are best to use..........

mini guide = 3secs

tv display/format= hi def hdmi
v+box hidef output= 1080 wide
hdmi audio overide=off
subtitles when available=off
audio description when available =off
reminders before programme=3 minutes
alternative mini guide =off
tv auto detects v+box {scart}=off

settings at the moment which do i change and to what settings please

tv display does not have scart only 4.3 letterbox 720 1080 1080 wide

That's the hidef output setting. You need to change the other one.

Nice info. Even tho this subject may have come up a few times, it confirmed some doubts I had without me having to trawl.

tv display format does not have SCART on list only hidef hdmi hidef componant 4.3 letterbox widescreen 4.3 normal

changed to 4.3 normal pluged co ax cable in rf out autoscanned tv kitchen all working fine now just need to split to bedroom tv job done
