Have you checked that the email & password combination work via webmail?

What error message do you get when you try send/receive in Live Mail?

Yes I have checked my email and password by web mail all ok.

Now fixed it, I deleted the hotmail account in Windows Live Mail and then recreated it and all was Ok, I assume it was curruped.
