Pocket sized projectors
I'm looking for a pocked sized projector, that I would like to connect to either my Samsung NC-10 Netbook and Acer Aspire 5680 laptop, and possibly my XBox 360.
I would like to to use the SVGA or USB (if it can handle DVI/HDMI would be a plus)
I don't want to spend silly money, but as in January the VAT is going up I guess I'll pay less now than more later.
I've seen one of these http://www.optoma.co.uk/picoindex.aspx, but would like to know what anybody here thinks or knows a better one that I can just plug on the source at watch.
From what I understand the pocket ones are LED lit, with a life of around 70,000 hours.

Re: Pocket sized projectors
Looks good but how much are they and what sort of detail can you get from it?

Re: Pocket sized projectors
Well I final got the Optoma PK301.
The only downside I have is that the box was missing the Quick start guide, which has the licence key for the converter software, and I cannot get to the shop until tomorrow

I have the Aiptek one and the brightness isn't brilliant I have to admit.
I guess as with most things you get what you pay for.

Re: Pocket sized projectors
I managed to get a licence from Maplin, they store manager got one from another branch.
Mine has the built in media player.
Mine was expensive £350, but I boght it now, rather than the amount it would cosy next year.u
