Virgin Media Player - Sky Sports?
Firstly sorry if this is the wrong subsection of the forum and secondly sorry if the question has already been asked. I have a had browse to find the answer but I cant. It has been a while since I have used the forum, since my 20MB broadband connection has in the last 3 years, whenever asked, been totally maxed out by my newsgroup provider. Furthermore, Ive had no problems with the TV services. So A* to VM. The engineers even came back to sort out there rubbish cable laying.
Anyway........Any ideas of if and when Virgin might offer sky sports on its new virgin media player?
Being at university now, it is huge temptation to try and force my Dad to change to Sky so I use the sky player whether as a freebie or by me paying the difference for the service.
Many thanks
Dom

There are no live channels provided on the VM player right now, in fact there is very limited content full stop but it is quite new. I would be amazed if Sky Sports was ever made available but you never know.

Yeah I was being a bit ambitious, maybe when sky have built up a domineering market share, they might consider letting virgin have a piece of the pie.
I wont bother with sky at all seeing as vm broadband in my experience is so superior to anything sky et al can physically offer me at the moment. I willl just watch the football at the pub.

There are plenty of streaming sites for football, [Mod Edit] isn't bad particularly the [Mod Edit] feeds. Give it a go.

Apologies I didn't mean to break any rules, the site I mentioned does not host any content and I checked that it has been discussed in previous threads without censure so assumed it was ok but sorry again.

Yeah I am aware of that deal - but the price is a bit too steep for me - the quality of the strean is not fantastic either (I know someone who has it free as part of their SKY package) - for £35 I would expect the stream be as good as the BBCs HD iPlayer service.
