Alien & Aliens on 4HD

I recorded Alien and Aliens off 4HD, both are marked as HD and I haven't seen them in a long time, so I thought it would be good to watch them again.

Now my question is, Alien is in HD with surround sound but after a quick check of Aliens it doesn't seem to be in HD and it isn't in srround sound either. Alien is letterboxed to the original format with the 4HD logo present in the corner but Aliens is 16x9, and there is no logo present in the corner.

I am wondering whether my box somehow recorded the Channel 4 feed and not the 4HD feed. Did anyone record/watch Aliens on 4HD last night? If so can you tell me whether it looked the same for you?

Alien was in HD, Aliens was not even though the 'i' button said it was. I was sad enough to stay up and watch both.

I was disappointed too.

Alien 3 has just started and that is also in HD with surround sound. Doesn't make sense as to why Aliens is the only one not in HD?!
