Ip 194.168.4.100 dns

Hello everyone, since I received my new VirginMedia Hub my Zone Alarm keeps popping up boxes asking for permission to allow Network Finder to access the internet, and it's IP comes out as NTL Service, hence me posting the question here.

Has anyone seen this and have info if it's ok to allow.

Regards ravel

194.168.4.100 and 194.168.8.100 are the two main DNS servers

Hello Paul M and Kymmy, thanks for your response, and confirmation that it's ok, this world we live in makes me suspicious of everything that appears on my screen.

There is nothing wrong with that, we all have to be aware of security issues.

Yep, always better safe than sorry.. A simple post can mean the difference between having a working system or having a system feeding your browsing habits to a 3rd party via a rogue dns setting (had that myself recently)
