Re: router stats

What stats are you looking for?

Most cable routers do not by default record bandwidth used or anything like that and you'd need to install an alternative firmware for that.

Do you perhaps want the modem stats - http://192.168.100.1/ login user root and password root unless you've changed them.

Re: router stats

you need to enter the ip address of the router in your web browsers address bar its usually http://192.168.1.1 ... or it could be http://192.168.1.0 or even http://192.168.0.1

if none oif the above work then you can find the router ip in the instruction manual supplied with the router

Re: router stats

If it is the White Netgear router then it is http://192.168.1.1/ and the username is virgin and the password is password.

The only difference with the Black Netgear router is the username which is admin.

Exactly how many people read those labels.

It could be engraved into the side and lit with led's but a lot of people would still ring in.

if you got the dlink dir 615 stick ddwrt firmware on it

and you can get stats galore - bandwidth usages, LAN, WAN, WiFi monitoring also setup syslog daemon and you can log system activity like dropped packets
