My VM phone keeps cutting out for a couple of seconds mid call. I thought it was the phone so I bought a new one and it is still the same!
Could this be a faulty SIM card? It all works fine besides these annoying cut outs in calls. It goes dead at both ends then reconnects fine mid conversation.
Been on VM for years and never had problems before.
Thanks did this and they said must need new SIM. Can't believe they havew to cancel old one to issue new one so now no phone for up to 5 days!
Now wife using mine and the exact same problem!
Is it likely there is a mast issue where I live. As been on VM here for years without problems now both our mobiles keep going dead mid call and say no signal?
They told me to hard boot both phones, take out SIM and put all back and then manually choose T Mobile network. Did this on both and rang 789 to see if OK. Both disconnected and lost signal from 5 bars to none at exact same time. Did this twice more to check exactly the same.
I presume this is a mast / network issue if two VM phones drop at exact same times?
Called VM they said nothing they can do as network showing as fine.
I will be contacting my mate at a BBC consumer programme next week for advice as they did this to me over my TV issues years ago and I got them on the radio in the end apologising!
Would rather resolve thsi without radio help, but if VM say can't help seem to have little choice as I would have though the evidence I have given them different phones, new SIMS, and drop out at exact same times means something is up?
Having a similar problem at the moment, only I can't connect at all using 3G and just getting a message saying 'Connection error'. Could possibly just be the mast is by my house though, if so, I can live with 2G while I'm at home but while I'm out and about I really need 3G to browse the internet.
Mark360 don't quote me on this but have a good read about 3G internet connections with mobile phones, I think everyone is having problems with the service...
To me it sound like over congestion....... sound familiar
I'm on orange 3G, full bars, crap internet connections
