Re: timetable? still awaiting the switch ntlworld to gmail
The majority of e-mail addresses have now been migrated
Can you check something? What can you see in My Virgin Media when you login in using your e-mail address? What Broadband service does it say you are on etc?

Re: timetable? still awaiting the switch ntlworld to gmail
As far as I'm aware if you can log into mail.ntlworld.com then you have been migrated.
What are your IMAP settings?
And what I meant was go to www.virginmedia.com/myvirginmedia and what Broadband service does it say you are on.

Re: timetable? still awaiting the switch ntlworld to gmail
Until all accounts have been migrated both e-mail platforms are still in operation. However a migrated account will have it's mail delivered to the new platform and unmigrated account will have the mail delivered to the old platform
Sorry to push this but can you please answer the questions I have asked? It will explain what is going on
Thanks

Re: timetable? still awaiting the switch ntlworld to gmail
The reason I asked is that there some e-mails that have become 'orphaned' from the main account. Usually when customer used to be with dial up and moved to broadband etc.
So if your e-mail was orphaned it would have probably said Dial up in My VM or wouldn't let you login at all.
I would suggest you speak to Tech Support because as far as I can see you should have been migrated but if you are getting new e-mail into the old webmail system then it needs to be looked at

What port settings have you got on the IMAP Server?

Re: timetable? still awaiting the switch ntlworld to gmail
See on that port setting it should be connecting to the new e-mail store as far as I'm aware.
I would say phone them. Don't tell them you are using an iPhone though as it's not officially supported.

Re: timetable? still awaiting the switch ntlworld to gmail
but it seems that the issue is surely further up the chain in the fact that the mailboxes are empty on the google platform and still being received on the old webmail,
thanks though i'll give them a call/email when i've found their details.
cheers

Re: timetable? still awaiting the switch ntlworld to gmail
I know it's not your client at fault but due to the way their diagnostic flows work as soon as they answer you are using an unsupported client it becomes a bit unhelpful!

Re: timetable? still awaiting the switch ntlworld to gmail
If you are still receiving emails into your old webmail then you have not been migrated. If you phone tech support they can confirm this for you. We still have some accounts left to do over the next 2-4 weeks.
Google accounts are bulk created at the start of the migration so you will be able to login but won't receive any mails until you are migrated.
