Question Sent Items On Virgin Media Mail.

If I send an Email using my email client being Microsoft Outlook should it show up in the sent items on Virgin Media mail sent items folder?

It seems that if I send an email to myself with my client it does eventually show in the sent items folder on Virgin Media Mail, but not if I sent an email to somebody else, of course the mail does show in sent for the client software, any ideas?

By the way I have already changed the settings for the migration.

Re: Sent Items On Virgin Media Mail.

Neither received or sent items will appear on the web mail client with the normal set up. You can ask Outlook to leave a copy of the message on the server but that's only for incoming mail as far as I'm aware.

Re: Sent Items On Virgin Media Mail.

You could also reconfigure Outlook to use IMAP instead of pop3, assuming that Outlook supports it.

That way any sent email can be stored on the servers "Sent" folder.

Re: Sent Items On Virgin Media Mail.

With IMAP you then specify with Outlook where you want the copy of the email sent to be saved - whether in the Outlook sent files or one of the files created (such as sent) in the system files.
