Recovering disappearing Word Docs

My girlfriend has just been typing an essay for her course. It needs to be finished by 3.

She has foolishly forgotten to save, and Word just disappeared from her screen.

Document recovery hasn't worked.
Searching her pc for all the temp docs hasn't either.

It was called New Document (3) but there is no sign of it.

Surely it must exist as a temp file somewhere?

Any help?

Thanks a lot.

If autosave was turned on you might find a file in
C:\Documents and Settings\yourlogonname\Application Data\Microsoft\Word

Unhappy Re: Recovering disappearing Word Docs

I seem to have lost a document I worked on for three hours. The auto recover is set to auto save every 5 minutes. Where can I find my file?
