iTunes update on XP
Just had the latest update for iTunes, it installed without any problems on the laptop running Vista but stalled on two attempts on the XP machines.
Got a warning pop up from Microsoft saying 'software had not been logo authorised for XP' or words to that effect, and advising stopping the install to prevent system damage.
It did give the option of going ahead with the install anyway but I didn't want to risk it.
Anyone else encountered this?
Jim.

Re: iTunes update on XP
Didn't have any problems with my update running XP sp3.
I don't have the MobileMe functionality installed though, do you have this by any chance? just a thought.

Re: iTunes update on XP
You actually have to uncheck it when you run the iTunes update to prevent installation, bit naughty really.

Re: iTunes update on XP
I always uncheck everything I don't want, not even seen MeMoblie as an option TBH.
The only extra with this recent update was a new version of Safari.
A full search of my system reveals no sign of MobileMe either.
