'Big Brother' style show for World Cup

Quote:
A Big Brother-style show is being planned for the World Cup.

The News of the World reports that programme, made by World Cup sponsors Budweiser, will follow representatives from each country in the tournament living in a house together.

The online show will include 32 housemates, one for each of the World Cup nations, with half of the contestants being male and half female.

Whenever a country is knocked out of the competition, the corresponding housemate will be asked to leave the show.

The show will be held in Cape Town and the final two contestants will win tickets to watch their sides play in the final.

The World Cup will begin in June.
This sounds like a good idea!.

Re: 'Big Brother' style show for World Cup

Normally I'd say I'd rather pull out my eyeballs with red hot pokers when asked to view the World Cup Football.

However to this suggestion I say I'd rather watch the World Cup rather than view this horrendous pile of dog turds.

Reality?I don't think anyone in the BB situation would recognise reality if it bit them on the bum..and I suspect neither do those who watch it...

I don't like football much, but i do watch the world cup only because everyone else is haha, so this might get me in the mood to watch football more often.

Re: 'Big Brother' style show for World Cup

I am not a football fan but I would rather watch every World cup match to be transmitted than be subjugated to utter drivel like this trash.

As with any similar reality show I think that they should send all the contestants/idiots to a remote desert island and tell them that all the cameras are remotely worked and just leave them there and never go back, we would be better off without them.

Re: 'Big Brother' style show for World Cup

would they all speak a common language? if not it would appear to be a waste of time, money and oxygen. If they all speak a common language then it may only be a waste of time, money and oxygen!

Re: 'Big Brother' style show for World Cup

It's just another way of bringing in some money getting people to waste their hard earned cash phoning up to cast their votes.

Television is going down hill rapidly.
