Not sure if this is the right place to post this as I don't think its an issue with Virgin Media.
Anyway my broadband works fine on my Vista PC. But I am trying to temporarily connect it to a different PC running XP. However when I boot it up it tries to connect but says Limited Or No Connectivity. It appears to not be able to assign an IP address correctly.
I had a similar problem with an old PC running XP a year or so back. I got round it by doing a fresh install. However, this isn't my PC, its a mates who I'm just having a look at.

Re: Limited Or No Connectivity
If you swap the device connected to the cable modem, you'll have to power cycle it between swaps.
I.e. Switch of the cable modem, unplug device 1, plug in device 2, switch cable modem back on and wait for the lights to stabilise to a normal pattern. Switch on device 2.
