Splitting hdmi signal

Is it possible to split the hdmi output from Virgin+ box to two different telly's in two different rooms on the same channel ? I have tried by using a 1 in two out splitter and a 10 metre hdmi cable but it will only display on one telly or the other, not both at the same time ....switch one off,the other will work and vice versa ...

Re: Splitting hdmi signal

You will need a POWERED splitter that supports HDCP
