Samsung 2110

Hi, recently had my old Pace box replaced by the Samsung. I notice that my Thomson DTI-6300 interferes with the picture when plugged in. It seems the Aerial In socket on the cable box is doing it, if I have the Thommy on, the picture on cable is fuzzy. If I unplug, picture restores to normal. Also have a Sony DVD-HXR790 that I run everything through, does'nt interfere with that. Strange!!!

Re: Samsung 2110

It's likely that the Samsung is set to a different RF channel from your old Pace box. You can find instructions for changing the channel here. If you can tell me what town you are in, I can suggest some suitable channels for your area.

Incidentally, can you not use SCART leads instead of RF?

ps. Welcome to the forum!

Re: Samsung 2110

Hi Spiderplant, I'm in Poole, Dorset. Will try changing the RF channel as suggested. Maybe you let me know which will be best for this area. Thanks

Re: Samsung 2110

Try 46, 48 or any value over 55. Don't forget to retune your TV (and VCR if you have one) after you've changed the STB setting.
