Question Will iTunes work if I upload my songs?

Ok, Basically is it possible to upload songs to my website ( Privately obviously ) and then use them on iTunes, streamed from my website?

The reason for this is, my computer is very 'unstable' at the moment, I did back them up, but my Portable Hardrive decided to fall onto my laminate flooring from a great height.. It would just be easier to do so.

I also ask this question, as I cannot find out until tonight. ( due to me being at work )

Thankyou!

Re: Will iTunes work if I upload my songs?

I haven't tried it, but I suspect not. Itunes can use files on local drives (or drives on the local network) but I don't think it can use files hosted elsewhere.
