Talking video senders

Hi I'me new I would like to know if it is possible to send wireless signals from my virgin cable box to a television set in another room. Also to watch a different channel to whats on the main cable box and be able to change channels with a remote control in the other room.

Re: video senders

Video senders will send signal OK to another TV but you would only be able to watch the same thing on both TVs. You can get remote control to work on the 2nd TV but you can't see the menus so it can be a bit awkward.

Oh.. and Welcome to CF.

Re: video senders

As above, you an only watch 1 programme on both tv's.

If you are choosing a video sender though, I recommend the Thomson Video sender, as I have never had any problems with it and you can change the channel in teh other room with a different or same remote.

Re: video senders

Yes it does, as it only send infra red signal. For two different channels, you would have to have a seperate box.
