Help with 20MB

Location: Newcastle NE29
Modem: Scientific Atlanta
Router: Linksys WRT54G2

Just running witht he modem atm so i could rule out the router being the problem.

So for the past 2-3 weeks i have been getting Latency problems on WoW and Counter strike.

On wow my latency used to be around 100 but lately it's at 300+ but gets much worse on weekends/After 4PM. And on counter strike i used to get a stable 24MS to my warserver but now i am getting 40-50 and it keeps spiking upto into the 100-200's, Same on ventrilo. On counter strike my ping is never stable now always spiking.

Tried phoning virgin get the usual unplug modem for 2 minutes etc. Hasn't seemed to work and they aren't doing anything else about it.

Anything i can do or just keep rining them complaining?
