V+ box, no info, home or V+ working, Help pls

Hi everyone,

I recently got a V+ box and had it set up on my old non HD tv, I got an HD tv which had to be sent back as it's faulty. Last night I set my old tv back up again and now i can't get the box to change channels, there is no info on the screen, i can't get help/V+/Home screen or anything. Does anyone have any suggestions what what I can try next please?

if its an SA model, sound like the scart connection fm the tv is plugged into the vcr scart socket on the v+ box. change it to the tv scart socket (top one)

Have you changed the V+ output back to SD mode? To do this...

Hold in the Stop and Play/Pause buttons on the front panel on the V+, and press Reset. Keep Stop and Play/Pause held in until the display says 'boot'. After a few seconds the display should say 'outpt'. Press the Fast Forward button several times until the display says 'Sd', then press OK. Wait for the V+ to reboot then you should be back in SCART mode.

Hiya,

I've changed the scart from vcr to tv and done what you said spiderplant, the box is still very slow and takes an age to change the channel, I have home etc coming up now but no sound?? argh, it's driving me up the wall lol

sorted. YEY, sound now works using the V+ remote, thanks for your help everyone!!
