It would seem to me this is the perfect time to bring the remaining British troops back home, at present they are being used as a political football by certain factions in the Iraqi parliament.
The Iraqi's were well aware this mandate was coming to an end, our troops should not be bounced over the border waiting for Iraqi politicians to get back from holiday in September when even then its not a foregone conclusion.
Strange how this hasn't happened to the American's they know full well if they tried this with Obama it would be the perfect excuse to ship troops home in their thousands.
Disgraceful behavior.
