Re: Copy contents of V+ hd to DVD hd

I don't think you can copy HD quality with the SA. I don't know about the samsung. You can use the V+ extras to copy to your recorder if you connect by scart but obviously this would only be in standard definintion.

Re: Copy contents of V+ hd to DVD hd

I'm assuming by DVD hd you mean one of the new Blu-ray DVD recorders. You can copy from V+ using the VCR scart only, so you will only get a VCR standard recording. HDMI is HDCP locked to prevent Hi Def copying.

Re: Copy contents of V+ hd to DVD hd

I copy to my DVD recorder hard drive just in case that is what chrome is talking about rather than High Definition.

Just use a scart cable from the lower ? of the 2 scart sockets on the V+ (The one marked VCR or VCR/DVD.) and follow the instructions on the V+ (Press V+ button > select V+ Extras > Copy to VCR/DVD.) I then set my recorder to record to hd rather than disc.

Ignore this post if High Definition is the subject of this thread.
