Virgin Telephone Question

Hi,
I have just signed up for the 20MB Broadband service which is excellent by the way. I did have some teething problems which unfortunately led me to far away call centres and some tiresome conversations, but all is well now. During one of these conversations the lady informed me that I qualified for a special offer, if I took up a Virgin phone line that would only cost me £1 a month for line rental for 1 year. This sounds too good to be true but the thought of going through all that again just to find out more is offputting to say the least, does anyone know of this £1 deal and what it consists of?

Thanks in advance

Re: Virgin Telephone Question

If you only have BB from Virgin Media it is more expensive than taking BB and Phone, e.g. BB XL 20Mb and Phone M Free Weekends is only £31 per month when you pay by DD and have ebilling.

What do you pay?

Re: Virgin Telephone Question

At the moment I have just a Virgin Broadband 20MB deal which costs £30 a month for the first 3 months and then £35, sounds like it would be cheaper to have theTV and phone. I would only take the TV deal with a HD option though and that costs £99 for install, too expensive.

As you are not a TV customer, V+ only costs £49 at the moment:

True story...although you would need to take TV:XL to qualify for the £49.00 install. Depends what you're willing to spend on a monthly basis
