is Virgin mobile broadband x64 compatible?

Hi there

my first post + initially signed up to search for an answer, but had no joy (my search criteria probably not too clever, sorry).

anyway, thread title says it all really - is it possible to install the software on a 64bit o/s - ie vista/win7 for virgins mobile broadband and usb dongle?

I'm on ADSL at the mo and not tied to a contract, and some of the packages available from vm at the mo seem very tempting. if the mobile bb is a runner on x64 I might just have to give in...

TIA for an answer

Ewan

Re: is Virgin mobile broadband x64 compatible?

AFAIK you will be fine. the dongle is made by Huawei and should have a model number on it so just google for X64 drivers if it asks for them but the drivers that come with the device should be fine

Don't forget you can use 32bit drivers on a 64bit OS if you need to, so it will work.
