Smile Modem troubles

Now ive got HDMI tv, V+ Box, and a modem, for the last ten days its been cutting out 10mins then an hour then 1/2 hr then 2-3hrs, i had virgin out twice already and they've changed the modem and the power supply and increased the download speed at the box(in the street). Im getting now 18mb which is the best ive had (when i can get on).
Ive changed THIS
PC TO A LAPTOP no joy
MODEM 3 DIFFERNT ONES no joy
2 ETHERNET BOARDS no joy
2 VIRGIN MODEMS no joy
2 POWER SUPPLYS no joy
the download speed is good 18mb
The virgin man is coming again tomorrow monday BUT i dont know what he can do.Ive got good download speed now i wondered if thats the trouble.
Im on 20mb and i have been since it came out but only had 8mb against 20mb
I used to have sagem 2110c with the ethernet in the back of the box but theyve done away with that that when the trouble started.

Re: Modem troubles

Sync flashing means no downstream lock, check white coax is nice and tight at back, failing that you need a tech.

Might need a repull actually.

Re: Modem troubles

That's when they renew all the cables from the cabinet at the end of the street to your house.
