Vista System Tools (inf)

Does anyone know where I can find a list of the inf files that the system tools in Vista uses. i.e. defragmenter uses dfrg.inf. This wont only be for re installation of the applets, but also for reference purposes. Tried google, but nothing.

Tried using Vista's search function? Other than that I don't have a clue.

vista does not appear to have that inf file instead its %SystemRoot%\system32\dfrgui.exe

Re: Vista System Tools (inf)

The inf files (where it has them) can be used for re installation.

However, if you are planning to do stuff that might affect the parts of windows installed by those inf files, you may be better off with System Restore, System File Checker or a complete re-install of windows.

That what I wanted the list for. So if for example the defrag utility stopped working or I could access one of the applets in Control Panel, I can just right click the relevant inf file and choose install.
