confused

Hi I am hopeing someone can help me, i have just had the v+ box installed. that works fine, but i am trying to connect my toshiba dvd recorder to it, i cannot transfer recorded programmes onto a dvd disk, can anyone tell me were i am going wrong plsss.....

You connect the DVD recorder to the VCR scart output.

Then on the V+ menu go in to the extra features and there is a back up option.

Select the programme to back up and then set the recorder to record and that should be you

to the forums btw

I suggest that you check it is plugged into the right socket.

But most likely either (a) the SCART is not correctly seated at one or both ends, so that not all pins make a good connection or (b) you SCART cable is faulty.
