Digisender & DVD recorder

I am having V+ fitted 28/2, took the plunge for £99 and no other box to be kept!

I currently use a Digisender on my PACE box and a DVD recorder.

Will both of these connect to my V+ box easily. I do NOT have an HD TV, just a normal one with 3 SCAT inputs? Will I be able to connect these two easliy without messing it up!!?

Should I disconnect digisender before VM call or will they set it up?

Do they just disconnect old box and plug in new into same wires? Does it all come on wprking whilst they in house? Or is there an initial set up time?

I am not sure if you can use a dvd recorder and video sender at same time.
However, They should set everything up for you.
Offer them a cup of tea when they arrive and make sure they don't leave until you have seen it all working.

Yes - even using HDMI Hi/Def you can always use scart splitter on the VCR scart (my sender came with splitter)

in that case you can use both scarts on the back of V+

TV scart has RGB (better) output

but a main feature of V+ is you can output an independant recording to the VCR scart and so you could

A/ archive a recording to DVD recorder
B/ send a different recording to Video sender

*and* carry on using the V+ normally + even watch a different recording

VCR scart does not output menus + the TV scart does

No they'll sort it and make sure it's working before they disappear
