You can be put in jail for nothing
Company: Central and Northwest London National Health Service
Comment: This can happen to you!
I am now in Gordon Mental health Hospital Victria, for no mental health reason
.
During my time inside, I have had the opportunity to "inspect" no less
than four mental institutions, both NHS and private and the strongest
impression I gained was of collossal waste of fuel and energy. These
places are kept at almost searingly hot temperatures, and the climate is
like that of a hot, dry arid landscape. They could cause a global warming
all by themselves, and I get the impression, that while the patients might
well benefit from cooler temperatures, the equatorial climate conditions
are maintained for the benefit of the staff, who mainly hail from the
warmer regions of the world......and, of course, the bill goes to the
taxpayer....
As you would expect, these places are entirely organised for the
convenience of the nurses, who arrogate to themseves the patients’ quiet
rooms and computers, even locking them out of chapels and sanctuaries
designated for their use. At South Kensington the daily papers always
arrived in the middle of the night, presumably after the staff had
finished with them. I, myself am forcibly and probably illegally sedated,
not for my own good but to knock me out so that the nurses do not have to
check on me.
The staff put the patients off speaking to me by telling them I have
filthy habits, but the ones I have spoken to tell me they are being robbed
blind by the support staff that are supposed to be there to help them with
shopping etc. Apparently the way to ensure a patient’s complaints will be
disbeleived is to diagnose him or her as a paranoid schizophrenic .
And here’s a name for you, people: [Mod Edit (Rob M)], psychiatric consultant.
Be afraid, be very afraid.
THE NEW MENTAL HEALTH ACT 2007
Is a real CATCH 22. It seems that the very fact that you have been
committed to a mental institution is regarded as good reason for keeping
you there, since you are an obviously vulnerable person. Vulnerable, that
is, to people who want to commit you to a mental institution.
I understand, from reading the hospital Daily Mail, that certain members
of the House of Lords get paid vast sums of money for making sure acts
like this one are passed without difficulty.
PS: The scandal of male patients on female wards is as nothing to the
scandal of male nurses on female wards.

Ah well at least they're letting you use the internet.

Oh dear, you were doing so well up until that point.
Bit misleading this though. You're talking about being detained under the Mental Health Act, which is different from being jailed.

Re: You can be put in jail for nothing
I'm sure you'll get plenty of assistance from posters on all the other boards you've posted exactly the same post on as well.....
I've taken the liberty of removing the name of the individual that you named in order to avoid any unnecessary legal complications arising from your allegations.

Russ, me thinks she's implying he is reading internal daily mail rather than the paper that I love
I'm going back to bed as my mental health needs re-evaluating

Ah, perhaps a mental hospital is the right place, after all.
There was something about the MHA 2007 that annoyed me at the time, however.

According to the website...

This might be a legitimate call for help.

In which case there are better place to post that request than on websites about UK Cable companies.

Perhaps, but someone in such an institution might not be thinking terribly rationally.
Who can blame a person in a burning house running around shouting "fire" instead of taking the time to find the phone and dial 999?

If someone has enough rationale to post on the internet then I'd say they also have enough to contact a major media outlet such as a national newspaper or news station.

Since the suggestion here is that this is forum spam, perhaps they aleady have and have been discounted.
I understand that there are those that see conspiracies everywhere they look, however the trend in this forum seems to be any issue raised concerning "potential" illegal activities undergone by any official esp. state run organisations is instantly treated with suspicion, mistrust and high levels of cynicism before any proof or lack of has been established. As a culture it seems innocent until proven guilty is no longer the quorum.
I myself am split on this until some evidence is shown and opinion based upon opinion doesn't help anyone.
Still, limited access sounds a lot like supervised access and signing up for chat rooms, forums and posting large posts seems unlikley. Then again, often human nature helps here, a model prisoner/patient will be given far greater leniency that other patients..... like I said so far split

Re: You can be put in jail for nothing
Actually the post is not exactly the same. You will see that the name of the hospital has changed, The hospital computer has been hacked so that I cannot get onto Myspace any more, and this is my way of letting people know where I am.

So why haven't you contacted a media outlet?
