Graphics Card Upgrade
Right, new year, time for an upgrade. . I currently have a system from MESH which has an ATi Radeon HD3450 & a 550w PSU, I am wanting to upgrade the gfx card without wanting to upgrade the PSU if possible. I know you will need some more info on what type of mobo I have etc, so I will need a system profiler, but I use Vista so don't know of any, and I also want to stick to ATi. I want it to be able to cope with games such as FSX

Re: Graphics Card Upgrade
watt usage is irrelevant I would say 550 watt is enough for what he needs as long as its not a generic panty one lol

Re: Graphics Card Upgrade
I bought a Mesh PC a few years ago which I was happy with, then I wanted to upgarde the graphics card (it came with a Nvidia 7300, wanted an 8800gts) which meant I needed a to get a new case, as the case was a mini atx, (which is normal on most of their cheaper PCs) and a double height card wouldn't fit
I then also realised the PSU wasn't going to be enough, so my simple graphics card upgrade involved me buying a new case and PSU as well.
On retrospect should have paid for the case and PSU upgrade when I bought it, as I deliberatly bought one of the cheaper PCS to upgrade in time.
