VM wireless broadband

Hi guys

I have recently installed a VM wireless router.
I set up my laptop (which has built in wifi capabilities) and I can access the internet with no problem.

My desktop PC (runs XP) needs a dongle.
VM supplied this and I went through the same setup.

The desktop seems to recognise the router (displayed the router name), however I do not have internet access. An icon in the taskbar tells me that I have a connection and then tells me that the connection is unavailable, and then back to telling me that there is a connection and so on.

A cable connection from the router to my desktop works fine, but I want to move the desktop to another room.

Am I missing something very basic.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Dud in Swansea.

Re: VM wireless broadband

Ring Tech support tomorrow as they offer full support with setting up the router.
