20mb cable and belkin n1 mimo

Can anyone give me some advice ?
I recently switched to the 20 mb cable service and have 2 pc,s 2 laptops and 1 x box connected through the Belkin N1 router (5000uk version).
All work fine except 1 of the laptops which is a macbook every time this mac connects my speed to the main pc drops down to all most no connection, and the x box drops all together?
I have checked and there is no firmware update as of yet.
I,m just wondering if there is anyway i can split the connection between the macbook and the other laptops and pc,s ,so that the mac cant get all my connection speed?.
ps if anyone knows of a way to limit the traffic to each pc, laptop, say 5 mb each that would be ohhh soo helpfull!
Oh btw i dont have all said items running at the same time before anyone asks!!!.

thanks for taking the time to read this post

Well, it does rule out one possibility... It seems newer Macs (those built in 2008) can have problems when connected to certain routers/switches (we have been affected by this at work) via Ethernet.

Which yours is not.
