Vista installed, msn/wireless problem

I've installed Vista Ultimate today and everything is fine except for the life of me I cannot sign in to msn when I'm using my wireless usb connection.

When I plug my machine straight in to my router there's no problem but msn won't have any of it with the wireless connection. When I run the MSN troubleshooter it ticks all the boxes bar 'wireless' which doesn't have a tick or anything next to it.

I've tried rebooting the router, I've tried ipconfig to release and renew the IP but still not luck.

I've got the Vista drivers for the usb connection so does anyone know what might be causing this?

Re: Vista installed, msn/wireless problem

That's possible I guess, but it seemed a coincidence that it happened when I was installing Vista

Re: Vista installed, msn/wireless problem

This just came through on the Digsby announcements alerts (It's a multi I'm client, don't tend to use it for MSN but I do for other stuff.)

Some MSN login servers are down so you may not be able to connect to your Windows Live Messenger account temporarily using Digsby or other IM clients

Re: Vista installed, msn/wireless problem

Seems like it was the general outage though - thanks to everyone anyway.

Re: Vista installed, msn/wireless problem

it is a fault on all networks everywhere caused by Microsoft, a bit like the Zone Alarm issue we all fondly remember
