What is this??
Guess what this is?
Answer -----at the end
It's a new Prison in UK!
Prison vs Work
Just in case you ever get these two environments mixed up, keep scrolling scroll down.
This should make things a little bit clearer.
@ PRISON
@ WORK
You spend the majority of your time in a 10X10 cell
@ PRISON
you spend the majority of your time
In an 6X6 cubicle /office
@ WORK
You get three meals a day fully paid for
@ PRISON
you get a break for one meal and
You have to pay for it
@ WORK
You get time off for good behavior
you get more work for
Good behavior
@ PRISON
The guard locks and unlocks all the doors for you
@ PRISON
@ WORK
You must often carry a security card
And open all the doors for yourself
@ WORK
You can watch TV and play games
@ PRISON
you could get fired for watching
TV and playing games
@ WORK
You get your own toilet
@ PRISON
you have to share the toilet with
Some people who pee on the seat
@ WORK
They allow your family and friends to visit
@ PRISON
you aren't even supposed to speak
To your family
@ WORK
All expenses are paid by the taxpayers with no work required
@ PRISON
you get to pay all your expenses to go
To work, and they deduct taxes from
Your salary to pay for prisoners
@ WORK
You spend most of your life inside bars wanting to get out
you spend most of your time wanting
To get out and go inside bars
@ PRISON
You must deal with sadistic wardens
@ WORK
They are called managers
Now get back to work. You're not getting paid to surf Cable Forum .

Re: What is this??
I was wrong, I thought you were going to say this
Quote:
A drug trafficker managed to continue his illicit operations while living the high life behind bars in a Brazilian prison until guards discovered his ill-gotten gains this week, the newspaper O Globo reported Tuesday.
Gilson Lino da Silva had 280,000 reals (172,000 dollars) of cash stashed under the mattress of the king-sized bed he had in his cell, which was also decked out with two refigerators, a flat-screen television with DVD player and a personal gym set-up.

Our prisons are much the same except for the need to bribe the guards.

Re: What is this??
Looks more like a holiday camp with bars (Butlitz) than a prison - better than my daughter's student flat; not much of a deterrent there.
Where is it?

Re: What is this??
Well, Callum, I think you will find that you would be very "popular" in prison.........

Re: What is this??
Yes - totally. My last involvement with students in a rented house involved forcibly removing a couple who, during a party, thought it would be a good idea to write on all the ceilings. 'Education' is indeed a great thing

Let me think how I can put this to you.*
You would probably become "close friends" with someone called Bubba, who would take care of you, and stop other prisoners harassing you. However, there would probably be a price for this protection, which on a family-friendly forum, is a bit problematic to explain. You know how mummies and daddies love each other very much, and sometimes like to "cuddle" when they want babies? Well, in the prison scenario, you would be the mummy, and things being done wouldn't be to make babies, and the "cuddling" would involve "squealing like a pig", I believe.
For any further elucidation, I refer you to the film "Deliverance".
*In fact, that's probably what the prisoners would say to you

Beautifully put, especially the reference to the film Deliverance.
I imagine this will put Callum off of a life of crime.
