And yes the pilots survived.

Wonder if it used Vista. You never know they might have had the SP1 update.

'Congratulations on installing SP1. Be aware that after extensive user interface testing, the joystick has been upgraded. It's now pull back to go forward, push forward to go backwards, tilt left to open Media Player, tilt right to open Microsoft Smart Bomb 2.0. Enjoy your flight'.

Re: Ouch!US stealth bomber crashes on Guam
How many times do they have to be told: you need to load the Logitech Wingman profiler before taking off or the joystick doesn't work!

It was a joke, Hom3r.
However, that was nearly 5% of the fleet lost there. That's ouch time in anyone's books, they literally can't afford to lose even one of these things. Apparently only about 20% of them are ready to fly at any one time in any case.

The United States Air Force (USAF) said both pilots had ejected safely before the plane came down at Andersen Air Force Base, shortly after take-off.

Quote:
Thick, black smoke could be seen coming from the wreckage following the crash.

@incog > I was actually joking in my dry, sarcastic and pedantic way, but thanks for pointing it out.
