I am posting a thread on behalf of my brother who has BT Broadband. Up until a couple of days ago his broadband was fine. Now he has no net access and the DSL light on the Voyager 220v is flashing green. As far as I can see this means that it is trying to synchroize with the ADSL. Once synchronized it should turn solid green. He has tried resetting it, power failing it and even moving the router to a different BT socket in the house but all he gets is a flahing green light instead of a solid one. He has also rebooted his pc several times and I am 100% sure there is nothing wrong with his network card.
The router is definitely giving out an ip address to his pc and he can access the router config through his web browser.
My personal feeling on it is that the problem is at BT' end. He has changed nothing about his PC or router config. (He would not know how to anyway!)
has tried calling customer support which seems to be in India and they don't seem to have an answer. Any ideas? Ta in advance.
