low power stand alone mp3 player

Good day all.

i was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a site (or search term) so i can find some stand alone mp3 players.

my dad is being brave and getting a barge boat and has spent the last week mp3ing his cd collection (he isnt bad for an old man)

so he has lots of mp3s and wants something he can chuck on his boat and play mp3s through what ever speakers he wires up.

The device should have a remote control and be easy enough for him to use

i did consider a small pc but as hes on aboat moving all the time power was an issue

so basically after a low power mp3 playing jukebox
any ideas/links would be very helpfull
