Router problems?

Hi,

My internet has been great through a wireless router ever since I got it, but I recently purchased an Xbox 360 and tried setting Live up through the laptop because it's possible, and the 360 is no where near the router and it's the same with the laptop. So anyways, since I tried setting it up my internet has been constantly disconnecting for no reason. I've tried deleting the connection and adding it again, it never fixed it. I've also tried resetting the router altogether but that sorted nothing.

Anyone know what the problem could be?

Thanks,

Craig

Re: Router problems?

What is disconnecting, the connection between the router and modem, the modem, from the boradband, or the laptop / 360 from the router

What is the signal strength of the wireless connection? If it is poor, then consider relocating the router to improve it. Is there anything causing interference nearby. Try a different channel.

What is the router make. Is there a firmware update available for it?

Re: Router problems?

It's between the laptop and the router. At the moment the connection is good.

It's a Zyxel NBG334W. And I'm upgrading firmwire now, so I'll leave it for awhile to see if it keeps disconnecting. Is there anything else that could cause it just incase?
