Re: v+ box
If you haven't paid the HD activation fee, then you won't get HD

Sorry you have to pay a one off activation fee for HD on either a V+ or VHD box, I did when I upgraded to V+ from a standard Pace box.
Remember V+ is much more than HD it is a excellent PVR

Re: v+ box
Why is this so difficult to understand?
Virgin Media have two HD boxes, the V HD which is not a PVR and the V+ HD which is a PVR.
You can get the V HD without having the HD activated.
The V+ HD has to be activated. This causes both the HD and the PVR functions to work.

You can, but you won't get any HD channels without paying the HD activation fee

If that is on the contract then I would say that you will be having a Cisco Vbox fitted which can be upgraded to HD for a one off charge of £49, you may be thinking that you have ordered a V+ box which would be unlikely to have NOHD in the invoice.
It might be an idea to ring up tomorrow to check which box you have ordered.

OK, it does appear that you have a V+ on order so I would ring up to query the NOHD on the contract.
