http://www.ntltelewestbusiness.co.uk...nd_speeds.aspx

Most of the modems here are used my Virgin Media anyway.
Example: Scientific Atlanta DPX100 doesn't support 20mb

Not at home so I can't get my exact model but I think it would probably be the 100. Had it since we first got NTL after they upgraded their dialup to cable. Never had a problem with it.

Currently 2Mb. Registered for the 10Mb and it said the modem was fine. The link in first post says the Business version can handle 20Mbs, your link says 10Mbs for the home version, lets hope i have firmware v003 or greater.
I'll look into swapping it if I can't get my current problems resolved over the phone.

Your modem was released when we only had 512kb and it will struggle due its age if nothing else.

Okay, I will inquire about getting it swapped next time I give them a ring. Will they need to send an engineer to install it or can I do it myself (move cables from old to new?)
