Re: Hain Resigns !!!
What's the odds on the MET actually bringing charges against Hain? None!
He'll get away with it.

Yay!
Now if only they find something on Jacqui Smith. I'm sure she would get a full investigation from the Police.

Re: Hain Resigns !!!
Just heard Paul Flynn MP on the radio claiming it was all just a mistake. Apparently this sort of clamour unfairly tarnishes the reputation of all our selflessly hardworking politicians......... They really do live on another planet some of these people don't they.

Re: Hain Resigns !!!
Hang on a sec. Isn't today the day the MP's vote on what pay rise to give themselves?
Not that I'm suggesting they would ever try to sneak out news by covering it behind another story.

LOL a good day for bad news? What depths will these people sink to next lol
Apaprently although Hain loses his Ministerial salary as of now, he will get a severance pay off of over £30k for resigning over what he says was his own incompetence! Nice work if you can get it eh?

I think its a coinsidence, as all this started with the Electoral Commission, so they chose which day to kick all this off.

Re: Hain Resigns !!!
It is time this government went to the electorate to decide if they are fit to run the country.
