New V+ Box?

About 6 months ago when we got our V+ box there was talk of Virgin releasing a new V+ box, I seem to remember it was predicted for some time later this year.

Does anyone know when the new V+ box is expected and what new features it is going to include?

I was sure that there was information going around a few months ago, but I guess that was all speculation by V+ owners.

there will be a new samsung V+ box on the network but it wont be a direct replacement for the SA box in use at the moment,same as when ntl launched the samsung 2100.only if and when the SA box falls over,and if the tech has a new samsung V+ box on his van,will they be installed.but i think new subs are likelier to get them rather than have one swapped in on a fault.
