				 Wireless connection prob!

HiI'm a new member, and surprisingly enough it is because I have a problem with my wireless connection. I had Virgin BB installed Tuesday, everything is ok when i have my laptop connected physically by the RJ45 cable but when I connect the wireless (BT Voyager 1500) router it says I am coonected but I cannot access the internet!
 Help required please.

What is the output of ipconfig /all in a terminal window?
 Is the router new?

Do you have any security set up?

DHCP is not being issued across the wireless connection
If you plug the network lead in and repeat

Can you confirm if you get an address starting either 192.x.x.x 10.x.x.x or 172.x.x.x

If its someting like 82.x.x.x then can you confirm that (if it does start with something like that then DONT post the full address, just the first octet)

			Autoconfig ip address: 169.254.165.71
Means you're not getting an IP address from the router.

Is the wireless interface set up for automatic assignment of an IP (DHCP)?

It must be, if it was configured as static it would show the static address as it cant be empty. Its a weird one this mind !!!
