The BBC is obliged to provide value for money, so paying ridiculous fees for sports events is (rightly so IMO) out of the question.

i understand the point you are making about recouping their cash layout,but there is no doubt that they rip the a**e out of it with their ads,i remember one occasion they broke for an adv and when they came back one of the guys was counted out fight over!! come on.
