Change from HD to SD

Hi

I've just got my V+ box installed today and I wanted to find out how I go about changing the output from HD to SD.

Re: Change from HD to SD

Hold in the Stop and Play/Pause buttons on the front panel, and press 'Reset'. Keep Stop and Play/Pause held in until the display says 'boot'.
After a few seconds the display should say 'outpt'. Press the Fast Forward button several times until the display says 'Sd', then press OK.
Wait for the V+ to reboot.

Re: Change from HD to SD

Alternatively, go through the menus! Be aware that when switching to HDMI you will probably have to choose that setting on your TV yourself, and quickly!

Re: Change from HD to SD

because it only gives you a few seconds to confirm the settings

Edit: You'd still recieve the channel albeit not in H/Def

Anyone know whether BBC HD is available on freeview?

Re: Change from HD to SD

There isn't any HD on Freeview because there isn't enough bandwidth. There might be some after the digital switchover is complete.
