What's the webmail server address, don't need an account, just want to see if I can hit it.

I had this problem before but when I changed to using proxy server it was fine - now I've had the message telling me to change my settings & turn the proxy server off it won't let me access the page - if I turn the proxy server back on I can access the page

Re: removing proxy stops access to webmail

OK, I'm not using a proxy, and I can access the page fine.

Is it possible that the administrators have banned your IP address for some reason?

I'm on the ex NTL network by the way.

no my ip's not banned as I'm the administrator - every other person who I work with can access the page remotely - I can go into a internet cafe and access the page & if I switch the proxy back on I can access the page but switch it off & zilch - we're moving over to zimbra next week so hopefully it won't be a problem much longer

Re: removing proxy stops access to webmail

That is really odd, especially as proxy's generally work on port 80 traffic, and that webmail page is served off port 5108.

Out of curiosity, have you tried adding that page as a trusted site in your browser, assuming of course you are using IE?

Re: removing proxy stops access to webmail

I've tried it in Firefox & IE but all I get is page not displayed check your firewall etc etc - I'll just carry on switching the proxy on & off until we switch to zimbra
