Re: I was just wondering what ISP you guys have used

Was with Virgin Media for BB. Moved to Be. No reason, apart from the fact I already had a BT line and Be was cheaper.

Re: I was just wondering what ISP you guys have used

Use VM/cable at home and Eclipse/ADSL at work - although this is only a resold BT wholesale product. For £19.95 they offer an 'up to 8 Mbps' service and free phone calls from the same line. Eclipse, now part of Kingston Telecom, offer an excellent service and I have no problems recommending them.

Re: I was just wondering what ISP you guys have used

+ Screaming.Net (56K)
They were quite good and it was free after 6.00pm.
They later got taken over by WorldOnline and it became a disaster to connect and it was near impossible to get in contact with them.

+ NTL (56K)
The beginning of us joining NTL.

+ NTL Home Broadband (128K)
The beginning of us using cable. Gone were the days of dial up time outs and connections.

+ NTL Home Broadband (300K)

+ NTL Home Broadband (1MB)

+ NTL Home Broadband (2MB)

+ VirginMedia Broadband M (2MB)

Re: I was just wondering what ISP you guys have used

I've used BT dail-up before, but in about 2003 we moved to NTL broadband, they've always upped the speed, so I don't know what we started off at with them.
