Netgear WGR614UK 54Mbps Wireless Router: is this suitable

Hey all.
im planning on getting the Netgear WGR614 54Mbps Wireless Router. but im not sure if it would be compatible. i need the router to be able to connect to xbox live and play mutltiplayer games without disconnecting. also need it to play online games on the pc without disconnecting. im asking cas many threads on the networking topic is about disconnections and if i buy this router im ganna be continously coming to this forum. so i thought i would ask before buying.

so is this compatible

Yes this is OK ..My mate uses one ..pretty good router..

Personally for anything gaming I would use wired connections, I presume the router has wired 4 ports on the back.

once again thanx. but i must be sure that it is compatible because of the above reason. has anyone got this particular model and can they please tell me if they had or hav problems with it as i dont want to buy and then return it.

We use one here, have 2 desktops, a wireless laptop and a PDA hooked to it most days without a hitch. Never had a problem with it, all you have to do is read the manual and bypass the setup wizard when you first hook it up and go to the basicsettings.html screen instead as stated in the manual.
