v+ over hdmi problem

hi,

need some help i had v+ installed last wednesday but i have a strange problem see the video below

http://s10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...nt=VideoDJ.flv

its not great but what happens is the tv kinda resets itself or the v+ tells it to. the TV Is a sony bravia 50 inch rear projection, ive tried a different hdmi cable but no joy, it does it if u are watching livetv, recorded stuff or vod content, if i use the jump back button it doesnt appear again so its not a transmission problem. ive tried it on scart and it doesnt do it at all, ive not tried component yet and i dont really wanna go this route anyway.

do u think this is a fault in the box or the tv, ive read on here about hdmi compat problems

ive arranged for an engineer to come but thats not till saturday and i think he will turn up and say its a tv fault so i need some ammo

other than that the sd picture is so much better than the freeview tuner built in.

thanks for your help.

scott
