Another Weekend; Another Service Screwup

What is it about Virgin and Weekends???????!!??!

I'm back online today after at least 8+ hours offline due to the broadband going down in Coventry. The same fault also affected the VOD service on both my boxes (with the online light on the V+ flashing away for most of the day).

Last weekend, VOD was unusable from Friday to late Sunday night. Considering that this is Cable's killer app against Sky, this isn't good enough.

A weekend or two before that, I couldn't even change the channel on my V+ box on Sunday, due to no EPG data being sent to it.

A weekend or two before that, the EPG was a few hours slow.

A weekend or two before that, more flashing lights on the V+. No VOD, no broadband.

I pay good money for services which I mainly use at the weekend. From Monday to Friday, the service is fine.

Am I asking too much that all of those services actually work properly throughout the whole weekend???

With these constant weekend screwups and the now constant billing screwups, I will be considering carefully in the future if the time has come for me to dump Cable and get a dish fitted to the side of the house.
